Electronically controlled pneumatic spindle with manual operation. The maximum working range is 1300mm. The maximum machine column height is 500mm.
The machine structure is designed with technology capable of providing flexibility and quick operation at various positions, ensuring stability and accuracy during machining.
The main motor is a brushless type with high power and low noise, quick-release chuck for clamping tools with shank diameters from 3 to 16mm, and used for clamping guide bushings for the tapping process.

VAPS – ASSISTED CONTROL SYSTEM
Thanks to the new VAPS (Volumec® Assisted Positioning System) control system with an easy and intuitive touch screen panel, it allows the user to perform pre-set drilling and tapping operations without the need for manual monitoring as in traditional drilling processes.
THE MAIN FUNCTIONS ARE:
• Quickly identify the position of the workpiece (no need to search)
• Assist in positioning the tool on the workpiece surface with automatic locking at the reached position.
• Intuitive programming of the drilling process at multiple points (X, Y, tool diameter)
• Create and save drilling cycles on parts of any shape.
• Automatically calculate the drilling process on flanges based on the radius and angle between holes
• Automatically thread by setting the thread pitch and depth
• Positioning and drilling can also be performed in MANUAL mode
• Import/export drilling programs via USB port
• PC connection via LAN port
AUTOMATIC DRILLING ON Z-AXIS (Cod. VAPS-Z)

With this control version, with all the VAPS functions, it is possible to perform automatic drilling at the desired speed and depth.
