The One Torch Fillet welding carriage series is KOWELD’s most basic and popular solution, specializing in processing fillet welds on flat surfaces with high precision. The free-moving system adheres closely to the workpiece surface thanks to magnetic suction force, eliminating the need for complex guide rail installation, helping to optimize preparation time and improve construction productivity.

General Technological Features

• Durability: All models use BLDC brushless motors (DC 24V, 12W, 5000RPM) ensuring smooth, jerk-free movement, providing uniform welds.

• Speed: Stable travel stroke from 0 ~ 98 cm/min.

• 4 Wheels Driven system: Extremely strong magnetic attraction (30 – 32kg) and pulling power of 20 – 25kg (at a 75° incline) help the carriage grip the steel plate firmly, eliminating the risk of slipping.

• Power options:

  • Standard version: Uses AC 100V~240V mains power.

  • Upgraded version (B Code): Equipped with an independent BOSCH 18V 4.0Ah battery, transforming the welding carriage into a perfect wireless device at the site.

Detailed Classification of Each Model

• CS-71 / CS-B71 Ideal for standard fillet welding. Ultra-light weight (5.5kg – 5.9kg). Magnetic grip force 32kg. Torch adjustment up/down 45° ± 10°, forward/backward 40mm.

• CS-471 / CS-B471 – Wide adjustment angle: Balances weight and flexibility. Torch angle expands from 0° ~ 75°. Enhanced pulling power reaches 25kg, grip force 30kg.

• CS-51 / CS-B51 – Multi-directional adjustment: For high-precision mounting requirements. Allows torch adjustment on 2 axes (Forward/Backward 0~32mm and Up/Down 0~32mm). Sturdy machine, weight 7.1kg – 8.5kg.

2. TWO TORCHES FILLET WELDING CARRIAGE SERIES

A breakthrough solution dedicated to processing steel beams (I-beams, T-beams) or shipbuilding bulkheads. By equipping an Extension Arm system, the welding carriage clamps 2 torches simultaneously running parallel on both sides of a vertical wall, completing both fillet welds in a single pass. Increases productivity and eliminates natural deformation stress.

• Extension Arm mechanism: Reaches over the vertical wall to mount the second torch, independently adjustable from the main torch (angle, distance).

3. WALL TRAVELING WELDING CARRIAGE SERIES

“Solution for Narrow Floor Spaces & Narrow Welding Angles”

True to the “Wall Traveling” principle, this welding carriage series applies a magnetic wheel system to firmly suck and rest directly on the vertical wall panel (web of T, I, L beams) instead of being placed on the floor. The carriage crawls horizontally along the wall, with the welding torch pointing downwards into the fillet groove. This is the solution when the operating floor is too narrow, has many obstacles, or is made of non-magnetic material (aluminum, stainless steel).

Technological Features

• Strong suction force: Up to 30kg, adhering securely along the vertical wall.

• CS-41S / CS-B41S – “Space-optimized compact version”: Ultra-thin dimensions (width only 169mm compared to 234mm of CS-41). Lightest weight (5.9kg – 6.5kg) helps welders mount it effortlessly, navigates well into narrow gaps.

• CS-41B – “High-productivity 2-torch welding”: Designed with an arm clamping 2 welding torches (Torch 1 & 2) welding simultaneously on a vertical wall. Doubled travel speed (0 ~ 196 cm/min). Sturdy (9.8kg) to counterbalance the arm.

4. RAILLESS WEAVING WELDING CARRIAGE SERIES

Integrates a weaver motor assembly directly onto the free-moving carriage frame with magnetic wheels.
